Kassia Meador. Wetsuit designer, photography enthusiast and logger.
7-7:30 a.m. Depending how the surf is, I usually wake up around this time to my dog’s paws in my face wanting to go out for her morning routine.
7:45-8:00 a.m. Turn the kettle on and take a stroll around the block while sending out a few texts to see what the ocean is doing.
8:15 a.m. Make some tea and toast, eat a banana and feed the dog
8:15-8:45 a.m Sip my tea and check the surf on the computer all while trying to avoid falling into an email black hole
8:45 a.m. Throw my wetsuits, a jug of water and a few boards in the car and head to the beach
9:15 a.m. I usually run into a few people I know in the beach parking lot; so I’ll have a chat, wax up and throw my suit on. Sunscreen is super important and I use the Shisiedo sun block stick on my face because it’s the best!!!
930-?!? a.m Surf, Surf, Surf, Surf!!! I usually surf for at least an hour or two but if it’s really doing its thing Ill stay out till my arms turn to noodles but if the surf is pretty flat I’ll go get some coffee and cruise.
