Un tipo grande, muy grande. | A big guy, very big!

Josh Hall has been a special guest at our festival, which each days becomes more and more international. I have to say that  I really surprised with Josh his virtuous Spanish nearly perfect. I commented that dominated the Castilian because he had been studying years ago at the University of Salamanca, Hispanic Philology. Then when he began to interest in the beaches and waves that Spain had, and continued his life in San Diego traveling occasionally to the mainland.

This year has been in the Cosmic Children in Santander ,SurfilmFestival in San Sebastian, and has been heavily involved in the Salinas Longboard Festival.

What we have seen talking and meeting the concerns of dozens of fans and buyers, surfing, testing the boards of  Nico by Wave Gliders, we have
seen in the Pinar Night Party, in the Amstel tent, in the camp ….

That  yes, always with a smile on his face, and eyes a bit red (must have been the wind, hehe) He had the hotel in Santa Maria del Mar, making it difficult how to relax and forced stay happy and enjoy the various activities this year the festival gave us.

It has been delighted with the new relationships it has established a this side of the pond. We are pleased to have great and human people like Josh. Welcome.

VERSIÓN ESPAÑOLA

Josh Hall ha sido un invitado de lujo, a nuestro festival que cada día va haciéndose más y más internacional.

Tengo que decir que lo que realmente me sorprendió de Josh es su virtuosidad con el español, casi perfecto. Me comentaba que dominaba el Castellano  por que había estado cursando estudios años atrás en la Universidad de Salamanca, de Filología Hispana. Entonces fue cuando comenzó a interesarse por las playas y las olas que España poseía y continuó con su vida en San Diego viajando ocasionalmente a la península.

Este año ha estado en el Cosmic Children en Santander, en Surfilm Festival en San Sebastián, y se ha metido de lleno en el Longboard Festival de Salinas donde lo hemos podido ver charlando y atendiendo las dudas de decenas de seguidores y compradores, surfeando, probando las tablas de Wave Gliders, lo hemos visto en el Pinar, en la carpa de Amstel, en el campamento….Eso sí, siempre con una sonrisa en su cara,y los ojos un poco rojos(debió de ser el viento, hehe)

Tenía el hotel en Santa María del Mar, lo que dificultaba la manera de descansar y obligaba a permanecer encantado disfrutando de las diversas actividades que este año el Festival nos brindó.

Se ha ido encantado con las nuevas relaciones que ha establecido a este lado del charco. Para nosotros un placer contar con grandes personas como Josh. Bienvenido.
